Tuesday Ten

I thank God for:

1. His everlasting covenant with His people: "I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me." (Jeremiah 32:40)

2. The power of His Word to expose my heart, then uplift it

3. Giving me my firstborn baby 17 years ago this week

4. John getting his braces off today!

5. Friends in the body of Christ whose strengths are my weaknesses

6. Giving me neither too much nor too little ("Give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full and deny you
and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor and steal and profane the name of
my God. Proverbs 30:8-9)

7. Our schoolroom, which now features a "hide-a-bed" (given to us by neighbors) and has been reorganized so as to be considered a guest room! (Hint to weary travelers)
