I thank God for:

1. My tough children who have "Learned 2 Discern" (They learned it from the best...)

2. John's double play, hard work and great hitting lately

3. That disgustingly wonderful Vanilla Kreme doughnut.

4. The gym. :-)

5. Dreamy Leah's latest sewing project: An Arwin dress

6. The intensity of the recent rain

7. The Holy Spirit, comforter, teacher, illuminator, memory prompter, constant companion, guaranteeor of all that is to come

8. That my husband understands me -- no small thing!

9. The inadequacy of sinful man and the mercy of God shown over and over again in the Bible -- which gives me humility and hope!

10. An unexpected visit from Alison -- and Buck's wookie welcome! He clearly says she took good care of him while we were gone.

11. That there will be two more Schweitzers to glorify God!

12. Kelly's cooking class -- and the joy of serving my family a new dish that they liked so much

13. That our new mailman started asking me about church
